Guest Artist: Margaret PalmerImpressionism is the basis for Margaret's work and colour, texture and movement in various mediums and subjects are an important aspect of her practice.
Margaret likes to capture the essence of her subjects, whether they be landscape, life or still life, and endeavours to do this as a first priority. Margaret feels privileged to follow and fulfil her passion. She lives in Gore and in 2004, graduated with a Diploma in Art and Creativity (Honours). "I guess I just paint for you to enjoy. I hope my works give you as much pleasure as they have given me during their creation. I have no desire to follow a style. For me, painting is like life: an experience, an interaction with whatever comes along." (Margaret Palmer). |
